Description
Local residents and businesses tell us they’re worried about the frightening increase in the number of muggings using mopeds this summer. Although crime in the area is generally low, this new spate of crimes has started to make people scared to walk our streets. Even more troubling are reports that police haven’t been coming to the scene when violent crimes like these are reported.
The Leader of Camden’s Conservative councillors Cllr Claire-Louise Leyland has arranged a public meeting about moped crime and policing in Camden:
7pm, 14th September 2017
St Stephens, Rosslyn Hill, NW3 2PP
We will hear from Camden’s Borough Commander, Detective Chief Superintendent Catherine Roper, and a representative from the Mayor of London’s office for policing. There will be time for you to ask questions or raise any particular issues that you may have on your street.
